Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) molded products
Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) molded products
Carbon fiber composite materials, also known as CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics), are composites made by solidifying carbon fibers with resin (mainly epoxy resin). They are used in a wide range of applications from sports to industrial uses, as well as in aircraft and automobiles, due to their lightweight and strong, rigid properties. By selecting the appropriate resin, it is possible to impart heat resistance, impact resistance, flame retardancy, and other characteristics, allowing for "lightweight components" and "flexible strength and rigidity design," which provide excellent properties not found in traditional metals or ceramics.
