"Carbon fiber" is a material said to have a strength ten times that of steel and a weight one-fourth of it. We utilize two types of carbon fiber with different raw materials: "PAN-based carbon fiber," which has high strength, and "pitch-based carbon fiber," which features high elasticity, for various applications. It is mostly used not as carbon fiber alone but as a composite material combined with resin.
