We conducted CO2 application (application to the main stem) on "Yayoi Hime" and will report on the effects of CO2 concentration in the greenhouse on yield and quality.
This document introduces a report on the investigation of the effects of CO2 application (at the base of the plant) on yield and quality within a greenhouse, where the CO2 concentration was manipulated. The test variety used was "Yayoihime," with planting conducted on September 23, 2016, and harvesting taking place between December 22, 2016, and June 9, 2017. Three test greenhouses were prepared: one set to a CO2 concentration of 600 ppm, another to 400 ppm, and a control without CO2 application, to investigate yield and quality.
