At Mizusouen Honpo Co., Ltd., the increase in nighttime collection volume due to the expansion of the fine grinding machine has reached the limits of manual collection and transportation. This case study introduces the automation of the transportation process from the fine grinding machine to the sifter and filling hopper by implementing a pneumatic conveying system for powder and granules, along with an aeration hopper. It also includes measures to address issues related to matcha adhesion and clogging.
