We explored specifications that can be established within the scope of existing equipment together with the electronic component manufacturer.
"The catalog specifications alone do not guarantee that it will work well under our conditions," and "The most frightening thing is to realize after implementation that it is different from what we expected." — This is a report on a demonstration conducted with an electronic components manufacturer to confirm the performance of a filtration device and determine the direction of specifications. We prepared 1L of carbon dispersion slurry that closely resembles the actual raw materials and tested three conditions: suction filtration, pressure filtration, and suction filtration with an expanded filtration area. The report summarizes the process of developing specifications that can be realized within the constraints of being accurate but time-consuming, or fast but lacking the necessary equipment.
