Oji Imaging Media Co., Ltd. has developed a new product, semi-transparent thermal paper "Semi-Through," which combines new functions and textures as a paper material alternative to plastic film. The substrate uses Oji Group's high transparency paper, allowing for heat sealability through lamination and label processing. In addition to excellent transparency, it also possesses high gas barrier and water vapor barrier properties, making it compatible with regular thermal printers as well as non-contact laser methods such as ultraviolet lasers and carbon dioxide lasers.
