Announcement of Joint Exhibition by Prince Tack and Prince Kinocross at the "New Functional Materials Exhibition 2026" (January 28 (Wed) - 30 (Fri), 2026)
From January 28 (Wednesday) to January 30, 2026, "New Functional Materials Exhibition 2026" will be held at Tokyo Big Sight, where Oji Tack Co., Ltd. and Oji Kinocross Co., Ltd. will exhibit. Oji Tack, as a comprehensive manufacturer of adhesive and processed material products such as tack for seals and labels, tapes, processed paper, and processed films, will introduce products and new items in five categories: "Paper-based and biodegradable tack as an alternative to film," "Special adhesive tack contributing to recycling and waste reduction," "Recyclable film and reduced plastic film tack," "Enhanced functional tack," and "Environmentally friendly processed products." Oji Kinocross, a pioneer manufacturer of airlaid nonwoven fabric made primarily from pulp, will propose a wide range of materials from environmentally friendly to functional. In this exhibition, we will showcase a variety of materials and experiential displays, including "Water-soluble and biodegradable nonwoven fabric," "Upcycle-compatible nonwoven fabric," "Pulp-based sound-absorbing materials," "Nonwoven fabric for cosmetic applications," and "Powder sheet technology." Biomass plastic blend OPP "Alphan GPP" adopted for packaging (bands) of natto and tofu.
We are pleased to announce that "Alphan GPP," a biomass plastic blended OPP developed by Prince Eftex Co., Ltd. (President: Hirokazu Yasui, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo), has been adopted for the packaging (bands) of natto and tofu sold by the Green Coop Cooperative Federation (Representative Director: Yoshiko Hidaka, Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture). Alphan GPP is an OPP film blended with biomass plastic made from waste cooking oil derived from plant-based edible oils. By incorporating biomass plastic, it contributes to the conservation of petroleum resources and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The Green Coop Cooperative Federation aims to create a community where everyone can live with peace of mind and is engaged in the development of safe and secure products. In 2000, they formulated the "Green Coop Environmental Policy," based on which they actively participate in the 4R movement (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Alphan GPP has been adopted for the packaging of natto and tofu made from domestically produced soybeans, aligning with the philosophy of this initiative. From November 12th for three days, we will jointly exhibit at the "5th Sustainable Materials Exhibition -SASUMA- [Tokyo Edition]" at Makuhari Messe, represented by Oji Holdings Corporation, Oji Management Office Corporation, and Oji F-Tex Co., Ltd. This exhibition is a specialized event focusing on sustainable materials (environmentally friendly materials) and their manufacturing and recycling technologies, held within the High-Functionality Materials Week (*). * This is the world's largest exhibition showcasing cutting-edge material technologies such as functional films, plastics, cellulose, carbon fiber composites, metals, and ceramics. Prince Kinokuro N-Plus will exhibit at the Product Development Technology Exhibition / Nonwoven Fabric and Functional Paper Exhibition from October 15 (Wednesday) to 17 (Friday), 2025.
We will be exhibiting at the N-Plus 2025 in the joint booth of the Nonwoven Fabric Association. At our booth, we will have actual samples of three different types of nonwoven fabrics, each with unique characteristics.
