- It uses a rewettable adhesive that exhibits tackiness when water is added, remaining non-tacky under normal conditions and becoming tacky at the necessary moment when moisture is applied. - Since no release agent (silicone) is used, direct printing on the surface substrate is possible. - The surface substrate can be selected from thermal paper and thermal transfer paper. - It eliminates the need for a liner (release backing), reducing waste.
