PLC Motion Controller
This is a dedicated motion controller for the PLC (Yokogawa Electric FA-M3). It allows for easy use of NC control and robot control from the PLC. It is in a class of its own compared to general positioning module control. Despite being a PLC module, it integrates and operates independently with functions for multi-axis interpolation, synchronous control, contour control, and electronic cam, enabling control of processing machines, multi-axis robots, winding machines, and more without burdening the ladder logic. The PLMC offers many convenient motion functions that can accommodate all types of automation equipment. It helps realize the know-how of machinery and equipment manufacturers, promoting differentiation in automated systems. Additionally, with the multi-tasking function, a single PLMC can easily control various stations such as transport, processing, assembly, and inspection in a line control setup.
