We would like to introduce a case where a vertical multi-joint robot was self-made, allowing for cost reduction without a control panel. Challenges arose such as wanting to implement a motion controller suited to our own robot mechanism and operational purposes, wanting to demonstrate uniqueness, wanting to use both robot language and G-code, and wanting to operate directly from dedicated CAM. After our company's support, we achieved mechanism conversion processing tailored to the vertical multi-joint robot mechanism (6 axes).
