Panasonic Advanced Technology Co., Ltd. has released a new model of the wireless emergency stop device series "@seguro wes" (At Seguro Wes) that complies with functional safety standards, featuring contact transmitters (AT-SW1T1/AT-SW1T2). The receiver compatible with 1:N communication (AT-SW1R1-NZ/AT-SW1R2-NZ) will be launched in late March 2024. @seguro wes is a compact wireless contact transmission device that enables emergency stops from a distance. It complies with the functional safety standard ISO 13849-1 PL d, making it ideal for use in industrial sectors where safety is paramount. With diagnostic functions such as wireless communication interruption monitoring and power supply monitoring, it helps prevent potential dangers even in the event of a failure. Compared to traditional wired devices, it is easier to install and can be used in various locations, leading to cost reductions. Additionally, it can transmit not only emergency stop signals but also three general-purpose I/O signals, allowing for flexible usage tailored to customer systems. By utilizing this product, you can contribute to the implementation of safety measures required by the international standard for automated guided vehicles, "ISO3691-4."
