Motor testing using motor braking
The load for motor development can be applied using motor braking. It is possible to control speed and torque, allowing for measurement of variations in rotational speed while maintaining a constant load torque, or measurement of load variations while controlling to a constant speed. An AC servo motor is used for the braking motor, enabling low inertia and high precision measurements.
