Pressure Relief | ODV Type Tensile Rupture Disk
High performance for low pressure applications
The ODV type is a three-layer structure tensile rupture disk designed primarily for low to medium pressure applications. The three-layer structure consists of an upper rupture layer (O), a seal membrane layer (D), and a vacuum support layer (V) facing the process. It provides a high level of performance and durability, making it a cost-effective solution for a wide range of process conditions. The rupture layer, which plays a crucial role in determining the rupture pressure for accurate full-bore rupture release, is manufactured using REMBE's unique production process with precision laser technology. The ODV type is an excellent pressure relief solution for process conditions across various industries. It can operate under conditions with a relief pressure as low as 0.05 bar g, making it suitable for gas, vapor, liquid, and two-phase flow applications. The tensile rupture disk ODV type, which can be mounted at a seat angle of 30°, features a design that prevents fragment dispersion and is available in nominal diameter sizes from DN20 to DN600 (3/4"-24"), making it an ideal solution to meet various process conditions. 【Applications】 ★ Power plants, turbines, condensers, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, process vessels, chemical reactors, storage tanks, refineries, etc.

YouTube video about rupture discs for FPSO use.
A new Japanese video has been released on REMBE's YouTube channel. This video introduces the features of rupture discs for FPSOs. Pressure relief devices play a crucial role in the production stages of oil and gas. Rupture discs are widely used in many FPSO applications due to their ability to open quickly across the entire cross-section, precise and reliable burst control, and compatibility with other pressure relief products such as safety valves. REMBE specializes in designing and manufacturing customized rupture discs for special applications like FPSOs. This not only alleviates traditional concerns in the industry but also contributes to improved safety and overall operational efficiency. REMBE is the professional that protects FPSOs! https://www.rembe.jp/applications/pressure-relief-for/fpso/
