They open at a precisely predetermined pressure to relieve pressure from the system. Our rupture discs can be used as primary safety devices or secondary safety devices. They can also be used in combination with safety valves. This makes them an economically attractive option, as the valves are protected from contamination or corrosion damage. All REMBE rupture discs are made in Germany and are certified according to the Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU) and all common as well as industry-specific international regulations and standards. This includes ASME Sec.
