The CF series is a cupellation furnace for precious metal assay using the cupellation method. It is designed in accordance with ISO 11426 and certified by the British Precious Metals Refiners Association. When the cupellation method is performed in conventional electric furnaces, toxic lead-containing vapors are generated; however, by using the Carbonite cupellation furnace CF series, it is possible to work safely without exposing operators to harmful vapors.
