The carbon PEEK joint "Antlock" has been featured in the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun (January 8, 2021 issue), which has a circulation of 420,000 copies. Antlock is a tube joint that uses carbon PEEK resin, the first of its kind in the industry. By incorporating carbon while leveraging the inherent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and lightweight properties of PEEK, it achieves both significant strength enhancement and substantial cost reduction suitable for mass production. It is ideal for applications that previously used metal joints like stainless steel, providing weight reduction and rust prevention, as well as cost savings in areas that used fluororesin joints. Sales will begin on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. The compatible tube sizes are 8×6mm, 6×4mm, and 4×2mm, with a planned selling price of 650 yen for all three types.
