During the COVID-19 pandemic, mRNA-based vaccines have been widely recognized by the biopharmaceutical industry and regulatory authorities. However, in downstream process development, there are challenges to address in order to manufacture affordable and safe mRNA-based vaccines using scalable and robust purification processes.
