This is a free small-scale test to select the optimal types and sizes of final filters and pre-filters for the "filtration" that the customer will implement. The test will be conducted by experienced application specialists in accordance with the customer's filtration process conditions. Tests based on rich experience ensure reliability and guarantee the credibility of the data. Filtration characteristic tests offer various benefits to customers, such as improved workability and cost reduction. Customers with the following needs are encouraged to consider this test: ■ Selection of the optimal filter for chemical solutions ■ Downsizing of filters ■ Functional evaluation of various filter membranes ■ Extension of filter life ■ Increased flow rate ■ Improved product recovery rate

The final filtration sterilization process in biopharmaceutical manufacturing is a critical process that requires ensuring the efficacy of the product while guaranteeing safety. The PVDF filters commonly used in this process have excellent low adsorption properties, but they contain PFAS, which raises concerns about their impact on the environment and health. Sartorius has addressed this challenge by developing a new filter made from PES material that intentionally does not use PFAS, called "Sartopore Evo." This product significantly reduces protein adsorption compared to conventional PES filters due to its innovative surface treatment technology, achieving low adsorption properties comparable to PVDF filters. Additionally, the excellent liquid flow characteristics of the PES material enable high-flow filtration, contributing to the efficiency of the final filtration sterilization process.
