Resolute Manual Chromatography Column

A process column that enables optimally controlled and highly scalable operations.

The Resolute column has an excellent track record in various chromatography resins and chromatography modes, including ion exchange, mixed mode, affinity, and hydroxyapatite. ■ Achieves optimal efficiency, capacity, and peak symmetry through a high-separation flow path ■ Provides all column functions necessary for filling, discharging, and operating the column within a closed system via a central nozzle valve ■ Reduces validation work during scale-up with an excellent filling method for scalability and reproducibility ■ Column design with an inner diameter of 280 to 1200 mm (up to 2000 mm available upon request) ■ Optimizes process economics with a design that minimizes filling frequency and buffer usage ■ Option to choose between manual or remote-operated nozzle valves

basic information

Optimized for efficiency and scale-up! The Resolute column features Sartorius's proprietary high-separation mobile phase flow path, consisting of the mobile phase flow path within the nozzle, valve, and body, the distribution side cell, and a fully flush piston-seal mechanism. The performance of these critical column components is essential for achieving optimal process efficiency, capacity, and peak symmetry. The design parameters of the Resolute column are common to both the standard column range (inner diameter 280 mm to 1200 mm) and the large-capacity column (maximum inner diameter 2000 mm). Even when operated at high linear velocities, it does not experience nonlinear column effects, ensuring true linear scalability of column performance. Therefore, scale-up can be achieved without the need to redevelop the packing method or affecting the reproducibility of the packing process.
