Etching Label Implementation Results: Piping Identification Labels

Even in environments exposed to high-temperature steam and corrosive gases, equipment identification information is maintained over the long term!

This is an example of adopting "etching labels" for plant equipment piping that requires leak detection and repair. With conventional labels, it was difficult to maintain long-term visibility. Additionally, methods such as suspending or wrapping with wire were often used, which posed challenges for stable fixation and ensuring visibility. We adopted a thick stainless steel material. By pre-curving it to match the pipe diameter, we improved adhesion to the curved surface of the piping, achieving more reliable fixation.
