[Catalog] Silicoroy XVI MAST Hardon Plate Technical Documentation
As a high corrosion-resistant specification for MAST hard-on plates, SilicoRoy XVI is adopted. TF SilicoRoy XVI hard-on plates (ultra-precision plates that have been heat-treated and ground) are effective for parts requiring corrosion resistance and wear resistance. With a hardness level equivalent to martensitic stainless steel hard-on plates (approximately HRC 56-58), its corrosion resistance is comparable to SUS304 and is quite good. Additionally, detailed wear test data (ball-on-disk) and corrosion test data (cyclic wet test) for each material of the hard-on plates (carbide, powder high-speed steel, SKH51, SKD11, SKD61, SUS420J2, and others) are also available, making it useful as reference material for research and development.
