ThermoTech 2026 Exhibition Report | Demonstrating the Insulation and Energy-Saving Effects of Silsaam through Electric Furnace Comparison Demos
Siltherm Japan exhibited at "Thermotech 2026," held from September 9 to 11, 2026, and conducted a demonstration comparing the insulation performance of a conventional furnace and a Siltherm furnace.
With the same outer diameter and insulation thickness of 50mm, only the insulation material was changed to compare the furnace surface temperature and cumulative power consumption. Measurements taken over two days at 600°C showed that the Sltherm furnace reduced cumulative power consumption by approximately 51-53% compared to the conventional furnace, and the maximum surface temperature of the furnace was also reduced from about 93°C to about 48°C.
Furthermore, comparisons were made under 700°C conditions, where a larger difference was observed in this demonstration scenario.
*The values mentioned are the measurement results under the conditions of this demonstration and may vary depending on usage conditions.
