We would like to introduce a case where a commercial food waste processor, "Sink Pia GJ-30," was installed at the Momijikan Special Nursing Home for the Elderly in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Before the installation, it was necessary to take the food waste outside for processing, which was a significant burden for staff, especially during bad weather or cold seasons. After the installation, the ability to set it up indoors significantly shortened the distance from the kitchen, where food waste is generated, to the food waste processor, greatly improving work efficiency.
