A non-contact bearing (static pressure gas bearing) is a bearing that supports the shaft without contact by supplying compressed air from a compressor into the bearing gap. Due to its non-contact nature, it achieves "zero wear" and "low torque." Since air is used as the lubricant, it allows for "grease-free" operation. The bearing is made of "resin," which provides advantages such as not seizing and being rust-free. Additionally, it can be manufactured using materials that comply with food hygiene regulations.
