Detailed information
-
Discovery DMA850 Fixture 3-point bending Compatible with sample spans of 5mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, and 50mm, allowing for the measurement of various sample stiffness and specimen sizes. The unique low-friction roller bearing design available with 20mm and 50mm clamps accommodates twisting and bending of test samples, improving the accuracy and reproducibility of the modulus of elasticity.
-
Discovery DMA850 Fixture Tensile Designed for uniaxial deformation of films and fibers, it applies static loads using constant or variable methods to prevent buckling and unwanted creep during oscillation measurements. By simplifying the clamping function, it enhances usability and uniformity of clamping, effectively preventing sample slippage.
-
Discovery DMA850 Fixture Compression The measurement of parallel plate compression is ideal for materials with low and medium elastic moduli, such as foaming agents and elastomers. It can also be used for measuring expansion and contraction, tack tests for adhesives, and compression of rubber O-rings. The new self-adjusting mechanism ensures the parallelism of the upper and lower plates, simplifies user involvement while enhancing the uniformity of strain and load, and improves the accuracy and precision of the elastic modulus.
-
Discovery DMA850 Fixture Powder Clamp The transition temperature of loose powder can be difficult to measure using mechanical methods. By using it in conjunction with a dual cantilever clamp, the transition temperature can be observed.
-
Discovery DMA850 Fixture Shear Sandwich To measure the shear modulus G, two identical materials of equal size are sheared between a fixed plate and a movable plate. It is ideal for soft materials such as gels, adhesives (PSA), and high-viscosity resins.
-
Discovery DMA850 fixture Dual/Single cantilever This general-purpose mode is suitable for evaluating high-damping materials such as thermoplastic resins and elastomers. It is ideal for measuring the effects of supported thermosetting resins.
