The award ceremony for the 55th Industrial Design Award IDEA was held.
On July 31, 2025 (Thursday), at the Keidanren Kaikan in Tokyo, our product "APT-2600FD (Dual-Side Flying Probe Tester)" received the "Nikkankogyo Shimbun 110th Anniversary Award" at the "55th Mechanical Industry Design Award IDEA" ceremony. This year, there were 34 companies with 37 entries from across the country, and 19 entries were selected for awards. The APT-2600FD was highly regarded as a next-generation model that features a unique structure enabling simultaneous inspection of both sides, along with the industry's highest standards of inspection speed and accuracy. At the award ceremony, the judging committee commented, "The design philosophy that balances inspection efficiency and reliability is excellent," providing an opportunity for our technological and product design capabilities to be widely recognized. This award is the result of the efforts of each employee involved in product development, and it could not have been achieved without the support and cooperation of our clients and stakeholders, as well as the assistance of the judges who conducted the evaluation. We have opened an RFID experiential solution room.
We have opened an "RFID Solution Room" at our Tokyo branch. This facility is a space where companies and engineers considering the introduction of RFID technology can experience the practical applications of RFID through demonstrations of products and services. In the exhibition area, we showcase a variety of RFID readers, antennas, and tags across LF, HF, and UHF bands, as well as numerous specific application examples of business improvement and automation using RFID. For instance, you can see solutions that directly address on-site challenges, such as constant management of items using shelf antennas, collection of work performance data through cloud integration, an asset management system, and a key management board, all demonstrated with actual equipment. Additionally, we display products that support both development and operation, such as modules for RFID integration and plugins for inbound/outbound and inventory operations. Takaya Corporation has been highly recognized for its technical uniqueness and future potential in the development of a flying-type in-circuit tester equipped with new technology, receiving the Encouragement Award at the 21st JPCA Award organized by the Japan Electronics Circuit Industry Association. The JPCA Award is a system that honors outstanding products and technologies that contribute to the development of electronic circuit technology and related industries, and it is conducted for exhibitors at the exhibition "JPCA Show 2025 (Total Solutions for Electronic Devices Exhibition 2025)" organized by the association. In this award, a rigorous evaluation is conducted by a selection committee composed of experts from academia, the electronic circuit industry, and specialized magazine editors, based on criteria such as 'originality (uniqueness and originality)', 'potential for development and future prospects in the industry', 'reliability', and 'relevance to current trends'. Since its establishment in 2005, the JPCA Award has been continuously held with the aim of promoting technological innovation and industrial advancement in the field of electronic circuits, and in 2025, five outstanding technologies and products were selected for the 21st JPCA Award.
