Takaya Corporation will begin selling a starter kit for "battery-less electronic paper" powered by wireless charging using UHF band RFID signals. In October 2018, Takaya released a UHF band RFID reader/writer of the specific low-power radio station type, which has been widely utilized in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and office applications. This time, we have decided to launch the "UHF Band RFID Battery-less Electronic Paper Starter Kit," which includes an RFID reader/writer, electronic paper, and software for ticket surface rewriting, aimed at customers considering the use of UHF band RFID battery-less electronic paper. It can be used for consideration of introduction as well as for PoC (Proof of Concept). *UHF band RFID: Frequency 920MHz, International standard ISO/IEC18000-63, compliant with GS1 EPCglobal GEN2.
