44th Invention Awards "Invention Achievement Award" Winner
Award Name: "High-Pressure Coolant Liquid Distribution Device for Tool Holders" The origin of the awarded distribution device lies in the innovation of conventional coolant systems. Typically, coolant systems are based on the concept of spraying coolant liquid like a shower. The pressure is generally below 7 MPa worldwide, with most around 1 MPa. Our company has developed a new cutting method using our own products that operates at 7 MPa to 30 MPa. Currently, the awareness of high-pressure coolant systems in the cutting industry is low. Under these circumstances, this award holds significant meaning for our company. The award recognizes our mechanism that leads machine tools to be compatible with ultra-high-pressure coolant by injecting cutting oil at high pressure from nozzles placed near the cutting edge during machining of difficult-to-cut materials. This mechanism allows the ultra-high-pressure coolant liquid of 7 to 30 MPa to be precisely directed at the cutting edge for cooling, and the liquid pressure acts as a chip breaker, quickly breaking down chips and expelling them from the cutting area. As a result, a significant improvement in productivity (1.7 to 7.0 times) is expected, and there is potential for automation. If you are facing challenges with chip handling in machine cutting, please feel free to consult us.
