During the production of bispecific antibodies (BsAb), various impurities such as mispaired antibodies, aggregates, incomplete antibodies, and fragment antibodies are often generated. Therefore, in the downstream purification process of BsAb, it is important to effectively separate and remove these impurities derived from various products and process-related impurities using chromatography. This report presents the separation modes of chromatography used in the isolation and purification of BsAb, along with the corresponding packing materials and separation conditions.

We have released technical documentation on the AEC separation of modified oligonucleotide complexes.
Anion exchange chromatography (AEC) is often used for the separation and purification of oligonucleotides. However, modified oligonucleotide complexes tend to be highly hydrophobic, which can lead to the formation of aggregates and higher-order structures, resulting in poor separation and decreased recovery rates. Numerous reports have been made on solutions to this issue, including investigations into separation conditions such as elution buffer composition. This summary compiles information on the elution buffers used in chromatography separations, such as AEC separation of modified oligonucleotide complexes.
