Technical Data: Ion Chromatography - Effects of Carbonate Ions
In the IC column "TSKgel SuperIC-Anion HS," the coexisting carbonate ions do not affect the peaks of common inorganic anions.
Using the ion chromatograph "IC-8100 series" and the high-performance IC column "TSKgel SuperIC-AnionHS," carbonate ions elute at a position that does not overlap with the peaks of the standard seven anions. Therefore, even in samples where carbonate ions coexist at high concentrations, the quantification of other anions is not an issue.
