Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Next (formerly Nippon Yupika) has developed thermosetting compounds "CP-01" and "CP-02" that achieve both high flame resistance and low smoke generation. FRP components made from this material are not only difficult to ignite but also produce minimal smoke during combustion, allowing for safer evacuation times in the event of a fire. Features - Compared to general type flame-retardant resins, the amount of smoke generated is extremely low. - High flame retardancy: (1) Passes non-combustibility test for railway vehicles + cone calorimeter test. (2) Compliant with EN45545-2. - Halogen-free and environmentally friendly. - No need for aluminum hydroxide filling work, significantly reducing work time. - Superior impregnation compared to general high-filled aluminum hydroxide compounds. - High heat resistance, HDT 100°C. - Excellent storage stability. The compound does not gel or harden when stored at room temperature (23°C) for 3 months or at 40°C for 1 month. (For quality preservation, please use within one month after production.)
