"Underpinning Method" This method involves extending steel pipes beneath the foundation of a structure while using the building's own weight as a reaction force. The steel pipe piles are driven into the ground, and by performing a jack-up at the top of the steel pipe piles, the tilt of the building is corrected. Since the steel pipe piles are driven down to the supporting ground and act as support piles, there is no risk of the building settling again.
