Introducing a conversation with Ichiyou regarding the floor sinking correction work using the Teratec method.
In September 2017, we spoke with Mr. Toshio Baba, Vice President of Oriichi Co., Ltd., who conducted floor sinking correction work for a refrigerated and frozen warehouse using the "Terra Tech Method." The company was founded in 1953 in Imaichi City, Tochigi Prefecture, with the aim of manufacturing and selling wooden folding boxes and paper containers. Since then, it has expanded its business to include cardboard manufacturing, corrugated production, a weight bag system division, a packaging division, a packaging materials and equipment division, and the refrigerated warehouse and frozen transportation division that we worked on this time. We have newly published construction case studies on the service site for the Teratec method. This is a case of filling voids beneath the floor slab conducted near an automatic rack warehouse in Toyama Prefecture. There were concerns about subsidence of the surrounding roads and building floors due to ground subsidence following the Noto Peninsula earthquake, and we received inquiries from clients regarding this issue. We have been informed that the key factor for choosing our Teratec method was its ability to perform "short-term construction without stopping truck traffic."
