I will explain the differences between the representative fluororesins "PTFE," "PFA," and "FEP."

Properties of Fluororesin ■Non-stick It has excellent release properties against strongly adhesive substances, meaning it does not stick or is difficult to stick. ■Water and Oil Repellency It repels water and oil well when they come into contact with the surface, making it difficult for dirt to adhere and easy to clean. ■Heat and Cold Resistance Among resins, it has high heat resistance, enduring high temperatures (up to 260°C). It also withstands low temperatures down to -260°C. ■Low Friction It has a slippery surface with a low friction coefficient and exhibits excellent lubricity. ■Chemical Resistance It is rarely affected or corroded by chemical substances such as acids and alkalis. While a thin coating is not compromised, chemicals and solutions can penetrate the coating and corrode the substrate, so a thicker coating is applied to prevent substrate corrosion. ■Electrical Properties It has high dielectric strength (resistance to electrical breakdown), volume resistivity, and surface resistivity, demonstrating excellent electrical insulation properties.
