Knowing the timing for ventilation is essential for creating a comfortable indoor environment. ■ Indoor Environment (CO2 Concentration + Temperature and Humidity) Monitoring Set [For Educational Facilities × Ventilation Promotion] The set consists of a main unit + sub-units (with sensors). Up to 32 sub-units can be connected. - Main Unit (WD100-S32/N32) Data Collection Communication Control Server - Sub-Unit (WD100-THC) Temperature and Humidity/CO2 Measurement Unit (with sensor) [Usage Image] Install power-free measurement sensors (sub-units) in each classroom and collect measurement data at the main unit in the staff room or management office. Since CO2 concentration and temperature and humidity data can be monitored remotely in bulk, measures to improve the indoor environment can be initiated immediately. By setting thresholds suitable for avoiding crowded spaces and for a conducive learning environment, you can determine the precise timing for ventilation!
basic information
The indoor environment monitoring set by Momoko and Ayaka from ISA (WD100 series) adopts the LoRa communication method for long-distance communication (LPWA), which is resistant to obstacles and enables low-power, long-distance data transmission. This allows coverage in areas where Wi-Fi and Bluetooth cannot reach. For example, when measurement sensors (sub-units) are installed in each classroom or in separate buildings on the premises (such as gymnasiums or club rooms), the main unit in the staff room or management room can collectively gather measurement data, overcoming conditions such as different floors or distances. Even in facilities where internet infrastructure is not established, environmental monitoring can be started immediately without the need for wiring work. Up to 32 sub-units can be connected to one main unit, and the sub-units come with a built-in battery that lasts for 10 years, requiring no maintenance. They can be installed in locations that do not allow for frequent removal, such as walls or high places, without the need for a power supply. Case Study: Miura City Hall, Kanagawa Prefecture - Introduction of "Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer Monitoring Solution" to Prevent Vaccine Waste ★ Monitoring of Freezer Temperature & Power Supply + Power Backup System (Note 1)
Utilizing the "Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer Monitoring Solution," a system that automatically monitors temperature and power abnormalities in freezers for storing COVID-19 vaccines, the Miura City Hall is implementing measures to prevent vaccine disposal. This initiative, which involves the introduction of a system that monitors both temperature and power, is one of the few of its kind in the country. <Purpose of Implementation> To monitor temperature and power abnormalities in freezers and ultra-low temperature freezers (deep freezers) storing COVID-19 vaccines, in order to prevent vaccine disposal accidents caused by power outages, equipment malfunctions, and human errors. <Results of Implementation> The system operated during power outages, allowing vaccines to be stored without compromising quality. Additionally, the vaccine storage environment (internal temperature and power abnormalities) can now be checked from smartphones and PCs, leading to reduced work hours for staff and improved operational efficiency. <Freezers monitored by the system at Miura City Hall> - One unit from Japan Freezer Co., Ltd. - One unit from PHC Corporation *For details about the system, please refer to the product PDF. *For more information, visit our company website or the Ipros introduction page. <Note 1> With a 270W freezer, the standard configuration provides 2 hours and 45 minutes of backup. In the maximum configuration (with two additional battery units), it can provide 5 hours and 5 minutes of backup.

The definitive carbon dioxide concentration meter necessary for ventilation measures! A three-color light warning in stages - "Miharukun PRO" released on January 21, 2022.
ISAI Corporation has developed a high-function version of a carbon dioxide concentration measuring device, the "Indoor Environment Measurement Monitoring Device Miru-kun PRO <WD100-ENV-LCD>", which contributes to infection control and productivity improvement, and will begin sales on January 21, 2022. This product displays the measured values of indoor temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration on a large LCD screen, while visualizing the environmental conditions with three colors of light according to the levels. It notifies users via email or alerts when ventilation is needed. Data is sent to a higher level using LoRa, a representative wireless communication method of LPWA, for visualization and analysis. A compact version model without an LCD <WD100-ENV> will also be released simultaneously. Both models allow for quick startup from installation, enabling measurement, monitoring, and countermeasures to begin in a short period. When combined with an additional contact input/output unit, it is also possible to coordinate and control ventilation systems. Up to 32 child units can be connected to one main unit, and the communication between the measuring unit and the main unit uses LoRa wireless communication, covering areas and obstacles that Wi-Fi or Bluetooth cannot reach. It is also ideal for environmental monitoring in large factories and facilities.

Double monitoring of temperature and power abnormalities in the corona vaccine cold storage! ISA announces today a super low-temperature freezer monitoring solution (compatible with various manufacturers) <Ideal for early detection and prevention of failures and malfunctions. Power backup alone is not sufficient!>
Currently, ultra-low temperature freezers (deep freezers) are used for storing COVID-19 vaccines, but accidents continue to occur due to human errors such as incomplete door closures or unplugged power cords, as well as malfunctions of the deep freezers themselves, leading to temperature increases and the disposal of valuable vaccines. As one of the countermeasures, power backup solutions such as batteries or UPS systems are being offered by various companies; however, issues remain regarding forgotten closures of freezer doors and malfunctions of the freezers themselves, which cannot be resolved by power backup alone. In response, ISA will begin offering a dual solution called the "Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer Monitoring Solution" starting August 10. This solution includes not only power measures but also constant automatic measurement and monitoring of internal temperatures via long-range wireless communication, allowing for early detection of rising temperature trends and providing warnings and notifications through emails and warning lights. Utilizing our long-standing achievements, accumulated know-how, and development technology in the IoT field and power management sector, we aim to contribute, even in a small way, to alleviating the confusion and damage caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus. Coronavirus countermeasure campaign! Indoor environment monitoring set (CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity measurement) monitoring 32 locations at once! 10-year battery, no wiring required for immediate measurement! <Campaign ended>
As we approach the upcoming autumn and winter season, it is very important to monitor carbon dioxide levels and promote ventilation not only for the prevention of COVID-19 but also for other infectious diseases like influenza. Additionally, increases in temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels in classrooms can hinder learning efficiency. Knowing when to ventilate is crucial for creating a comfortable learning environment. At ISA, we are conducting a campaign sale of indoor environment (CO2 concentration + temperature and humidity) monitoring sets to support hardworking students. If you contact us during the campaign period, we will conduct a free on-site survey, including a communication test. ■ Indoor Environment (CO2 Concentration + Temperature and Humidity) Monitoring Set [For Educational Facilities × Ventilation Promotion] consists of a main unit + sub-units (with sensors).
