[Case Study] Defoaming of High Transparency Silicone for 3D Printers
[Demo Application Available] Measurement accuracy improved by bubble removal! Submicron-level bubbles removed with a vacuum mixer.
We are conducting research to improve the precision of surgical procedures by creating silicone-based artificial organs using a 3D printer and verifying blood flow with these artificial organs and blood vessels. Here, we introduce a case study of a rotational and orbital vacuum mixer that our customer has adopted. Previously, the company placed silicone for 3D printers in a vacuum chamber for degassing, but due to the issue of silicone spattering in the vacuum chamber, the process took a lot of time. Therefore, they first borrowed a demo unit and introduced the "Awatori Nentaro ARV-310." As a result, the scattering of laser light was significantly reduced, allowing for the production of highly transparent artificial organs.
