BYK high polarity solvent effective thickener (thickening agent) CLAYTONE
A thickening agent that exhibits viscosity in a system of N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) used in strippers, cleaning agents, and water-based paints.
CALYTONE Series: - Can be adjusted to approach thixotropic viscosity - Used for preventing separation and sedimentation - Also effective for color stabilization For medium to high polarity CALYTONE-VZ: Standard amount of organic modification CALYTONE-MPZ: Uniform modification of VZ CALYTONE-APA: Increased amount of organic modification GARAMITE Series: - Improved mixability and ease of mixing by combining rod-shaped minerals - Transforms to pseudoplastic viscosity, accelerating viscosity recovery after application - enhances sag resistance in spray painting Organic modification: Standard amount GARAMITE-1958: For medium polarity GARAMITE-7303: For low to medium polarity GARAMITE-7305: For medium to high polarity
