ADLINK announces the acquisition of 100% of the shares of UK-based PrismTech.
On December 16, 2015, ADLINK Technology (TSEC: 6166) announced that it would acquire 100% of PrismTech's shares based on a resolution passed at a board meeting held on December 14, 2015. Founded in 1992 and based in Newcastle, UK, PrismTech has around 70 employees, including a highly experienced software team, and is a leader in the development and implementation of the Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard for IoT data distribution software. This acquisition will further strengthen ADLINK's advantage in the rapidly growing industrial IoT market. The synergy between software and hardware will enable the creation of integrated edge platforms and solutions for all vertical markets, ensuring a rapid time-to-market.

A new PaaS (Platform as a Service) SEMA (Smart Embedded Management Agent) Cloud application-ready platform (AEP) has been announced, providing extensive industrial IoT cloud solutions from a single source.
