A new PaaS (Platform as a Service) SEMA (Smart Embedded Management Agent) Cloud application-ready platform (AEP) has been announced, providing extensive industrial IoT cloud solutions from a single source. SEMA Cloud consists of a cloud server architecture hosted on the SEMA Cloud IoT service and can be managed from a web-based SEMA Cloud management portal. The cloud solution includes gateway software with IoT stacked on top of intelligent SEMA middleware, allowing embedded devices to securely connect to the cloud using the latest encryption technologies without changing their design. SEMA Cloud is a custom specification application development platform that is application-ready or open and flexible.
