ADLINK collaborates with Intel to build an intelligent double-decker sightseeing bus in Taipei.

Intel, ADLINK Technology, and Taipei Sightseeing Marketing have introduced the first double-decker sightseeing bus in Taipei to realize the vision of a networked smart world. This bus integrates Intel's cutting-edge technology, ADLINK Technology's hardware and software into a high-efficiency smart platform solution, and combines Taipei Sightseeing Marketing's extensive experience in the transportation and travel industry to bring new momentum to Taiwan's tourism industry. The Taipei sightseeing bus, which is scheduled to start commercial services in early 2017, is equipped with a GPS-integrated passenger counting system and will provide real-time push notifications and a QR code ticket management system. Passengers can download the "Mobile GIS and Marketplace" app to access the latest bus information as well as information about nearby attractions and local specialties. The onboard ticket reader and mobile ticketing system will assist drivers and tour guides in providing convenient and prompt service.
