AMR/AGV Cooperative 3D Measurement Station
AMR transports and automatic measurement at the station.
A measurement station is set up along the transport route of AMR and AGV. The three-dimensional dimensions of the arriving packages are measured using a ToF sensor, and images of the package are simultaneously captured with an RGB camera. The data is then handed over to the transport system and WMS. After the introduction of AMR, are you facing these challenges with measurement? - Even with automation of transport, personnel are required to wait for dimension measurement, creating a bottleneck in the process. - While waiting for manual measurements, AMR and AGV are idle, interrupting the flow of transport. - Variations in measurements by personnel and errors in manual input reduce the reliability of dimension data. - Dimensions for each package are not automatically recorded, making it impossible to use them for location assignment or loading plans. - Even if dimensions are known, images of the package are not retained, making it cumbersome to verify appearance and stacking conditions, as well as to respond to inquiries.
