High corrosion-resistant electromagnetic valve (solenoid valve) that is strong against debris/foreign objects due to Burkert's unique flipper structure.
The movable part of the solenoid valve's flow path is protected by a diaphragm, preventing dirt and foreign objects from flowing around the plunger, thereby reducing the frequency of physical failures.

The Type 124 Flipper Solenoid Valve is a solenoid valve with a body made of PP or PVDF. The standard sealing material is FKM (fluoroelastomer), but seals made of EPDM or FFKM can also be custom ordered. The wetted parts are limited to the materials mentioned above, and since the solenoid valve does not come into contact with any metal, it can be used in applications such as analytical instruments, medical devices, and chemical lines in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The orifice lineup ranges from 2 to 4 mm, which is quite large for a direct-acting solenoid valve, allowing for replacement in areas where only pneumatic valves for chemical liquids were previously used.
