This is an explanation of the Bürkert paddle-type flow meter.
The Burkert paddle flow meter is a product that combines a signal output section (transmitter) and a piping section (fitting). This offers a benefit to customers, as it allows for the replacement of only the signal output section in the event of a failure, such as from a lightning strike, thereby reducing costs. However, since this may be somewhat difficult to understand, we will provide an explanation in this document.

A paddle refers to a rotor. Inside the piping section (fitting), there is a paddle (rotor) that rotates according to the flow rate. By measuring this rotation speed, a paddle-type flow meter measures the flow rate.
