It is a small solenoid valve or micropump with a special structure that prevents the fluid from touching the metal at all. It has been developed for the medical, biomedical, analytical (gas and liquid), bio, and semiconductor industries.

This is an ultra-slim solenoid valve with a width of just 4.5mm. This 4.5mm width is designed to fit 384-well microplates, making it ideal for fluid control in dispensers and pipettors. It features a special structure that prevents fluid from coming into contact with metal, and the wetted materials are made of PEEK and FFKM, providing excellent corrosion resistance for most chemicals. Additionally, Bürkert's unique flipper solenoid valve design eliminates the pump effect (the suction and discharge of fluid associated with the opening and closing of the solenoid valve), allowing for high-precision dispensing. Unlike conventional diaphragm solenoid valves, which have a pump effect, this valve can be used in applications that require high-precision dispensing.
