Ideal for measuring the flow of eggs and cooking oil! FLOWave Type8098
Can be used with pure water, oil, liquid eggs, and city milk! Achieves full bore and high cleaning performance! High-precision flow measurement even with zero conductivity using SAW technology!
Measurable even with zero conductivity! The sanitary flow sensor 'FLOWave Type 8098' with a complete stainless steel tube that replaces the Coriolis type in the wetted part. - Suitable for use with edible oils, liquid eggs, milk (such as liquid milk), ultra-pure water, pure water, and WFI - By adopting SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) technology, it can measure without depending on conductivity. The complete straight tube stainless steel design, which removes the probe and detection element from the wetted part, achieves a sanitary structure similar to that of a straight pipe. In addition to high sanitary properties, it is ideal for edible oils, liquid eggs, pure water, and ultra-pure water, where electromagnetic flow meters cannot be used due to their dependence on conductivity. The FLOWave flow sensor is lighter and easier to install than conventional Coriolis flow sensors, has no mechanical drive parts, and boasts excellent cleanability, making it suitable for the food and beverage industry. [Features] - Excellent cleanability with a full bore and detection part that does not come into contact with the fluid - Usable with zero conductivity, making it suitable for ultra-pure water and the pharmaceutical field - Proven track record with oils, liquid eggs, and liquid milk - Achieves high accuracy of ±0.4% O.R. (flow velocity 1 m/s - 10 m/s) - Application examples for bubble and foreign matter detection available.
basic information
Measurement Accuracy: ±0.4% O.R. (Flow rate 1 to 10 [m/s]), ±0.08% F.S. (Flow rate 0.1 to 1 [m/s]) Measurement Items: Volume flow, instantaneous flow, temperature, ATF (SAW transmission rate), Density Factor Fluid Temperature: -20 to 110℃ (max 140℃ for less than 60 minutes) Output Format: 4-20mA analog signal & pulse output or industrial Ethernet (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, EtherCAT) Pipe Connection: 15A to 2S Helical 【Measurement Principle】 Adopts SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves). Four digital transducers installed on the outside of a stainless steel tube perform the transmission and reception of SAW. The SAW received by each transducer is calculated to determine the flow rate, so conductivity values do not affect the measurement. Since the frequency is above 1MHz, external vibrations do not affect measurement accuracy.
