Low Cr alloy steel powder "Astaloy CrS"
Proposal for replacement from Fe-Cu-C materials! Also compatible with the increasing demand for recyclability in the future.
"Astaloy CrS" is a low-Cr fully alloy powder that meets sustainability requirements. This product is an atomized low-Cr fully alloy powder made from iron scrap, and when sintered in a hydrogen/nitrogen atmosphere, it exhibits mechanical properties equivalent to those of Fe-Cu-C materials. Additionally, due to the absence of Cu, it is expected to have high dimensional stability and improved yield. Astaloy CrS is a material with low CO2 emissions. Heganes aims to achieve virtually zero CO2 emissions from Astaloy CrS by 2037, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions in the manufacturing of sintered parts in the future! 【Features】 ■ Sustainable/Recyclable ■ Mechanical properties and machinability equivalent to (or better than) Fe-Cu-C ■ High dimensional stability *For detailed specifications, please download the PDF.
