In the molding process using FDM 3D printers, ABS and PLA are currently mainstream materials. However, our company has started contract processing using filaments made with our unique technology in various materials. In cutting processes, significant waste can occur depending on the shape, as the raw materials, such as round bars and flat plates, are machined. Our 3D printer contract processing, which utilizes the FDM method, significantly reduces waste and lowers costs. Additionally, when manufacturing with 3D printers, it is possible to create hollow or honeycomb structures internally, allowing for reduced material costs and weight compared to cutting processes that can only produce solid forms. The "Non-Tacky Silicone Trim" has high heat resistance, high chemical resistance, and a long lifespan, while also offering good handling properties. It is a product that has been modified from conventional "silicone trim" through a fluorine gas surface treatment method, improving tackiness and sliding properties. The surface of the silicone rubber is chemically modified by exposing it to fluorine gas (vapor phase treatment). Unlike surface-layer coatings such as DLC (hard carbon film) or PTFE (fluororesin) coatings, this chemical modification provides superior uniformity, durability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness compared to coated products. Additionally, it enhances anti-sticking performance and sliding properties, while also improving the tackiness characteristic of silicone rubber, thereby reducing the adhesion of dust and dirt. Furthermore, even after fluorine gas treatment, it can maintain chemical resistance and flexibility comparable to that of conventional silicone trim. The "silicone trim" features a core structure, allowing for easy installation without the use of adhesives. Consequently, it can also be easily removed, offering excellent maintenance properties. The internal core is made of "stainless steel (SUS443) perforated metal," which excels in rust resistance, flexibility, and safety. This allows it to adapt to various usage environments.
