Compression test
Please leave the compression testing of packaged and wrapped cargo to JBL. The maximum size of the test item is 1.2 m x 1.2 m x 1.2 m.
We evaluate how much packaged goods can withstand compressive loads that occur during storage in warehouses and logistics centers. In this contracted testing service, we reproduce the compressive loads caused by stacking during warehouse storage using a compression testing machine. ▼ For more details, please download the PDF document (recommended). ▼ Customers in a hurry, please contact us using the "Contact Us" section below.
basic information
JIS Z 0212: Packaging Goods and Containers - Compression Test Method A common practice involves setting a cardboard box in a compression testing machine and gradually applying load from above, examining the compression load at the point of buckling to determine its strength. By comparing this with the maximum load expected when stacked in a warehouse, it serves as an indicator for assessing the quality of the cardboard box. The quality of pallets can also be evaluated through compression testing.
