Trapezoidal wave shock test
Leave the product impact testing to JBL. Large test bench + trapezoidal wave + SRS analysis = accommodating a wide range of test conditions.
In product design and development, the impact resistance of the product itself is determined by considering factors such as drops and collisions that occur during distribution and usage environments. This contracted testing service evaluates the impact resistance (fragility, vulnerability) of the product using an impact testing machine. ▼ For more details, please download the PDF document (recommended). ▼ If you need assistance urgently, please contact us through the 'Contact Us' section below.
basic information
JIS C 60068-2-27: Environmental Testing Methods - Electrical and Electronic - Shock Testing Methods We accommodate not only the standards set by public testing standards like JIS but also the unique testing conditions required by individual finished product manufacturers from their component vendors. At JBL, we conduct shock testing equivalent to sine waves by combining trapezoidal waves and SRS analysis (Shock Response Spectrum). Below are examples of our testing achievements. ◆ Certification tests for HDD, BD/DVD/CD drives for PC manufacturers ◆ Collision tests for automotive components ◆ Shock tests for lithium batteries (UN 38.3: Lithium metal and lithium ion batteries) The shock testing machine owned by JBL has one of the largest test bed sizes in Japan, measuring 1.2m x 1.2m. It can accommodate products ranging from small electronic components to large products weighing up to 400kg. ◆ JBL Packaging Testing Facility: ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) certified since December 2010.
