ASTM F1886 Visual Inspection
The Visual Inspection test specified in ASTM F1886 can be conducted.
This testing method is established by ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) to visually measure the presence of defects that may affect the integrity of packaging. - The seal integrity measurement is conducted at a distance of 30-45 cm (the distance from the test specimen to the eye). - Test and record all parts of the seal that show changes, marking the altered areas. - Record the number and location of defects identified in each package.
